I am a photographer based in Northampton. My other interests include astronomy, nature, the outdoors and mountain biking.

I have had many pictures published in various books and magazines. Below is a small selection of books that contain my specialised astronomy images.

In 2007, The Royal Mail used my Moon images for this special set of stamps celebrating 50 Years of The sky at Night

Here I am with a great pal of mine, Sir Patrick Moore who helped inspire me to become interested in astronomy as a young lad.

Queen founder member, Brian May is also a keen amateur astronomer and photographer who I have got to know very well over the last few years. Here we can been seen here setting up our cameras ready for a predicted meteor shower in Patrick Moore’s garden. Brian kindly arranged for me to photograph Queen + Paul Rogers performing in 2008 at Birmingham as part of the “Rock The Cosmos” tour. To see my pictures click here

In February 2008 I was invited to attend the filming of a Sky at Night episode where many astronomers and guests gathered to witness a total lunar eclipse in the grounds of Sir Patrick Moores home.

One of the guests on this night was ace TV impressionist Jon Culshaw. who entertained us with his hilarious impersonations after we had retreated indoors when the eclipse was over..
